They're a punk band from London who wrote some of the most popular songs in Britain and the United States. They are so popular that The Willoughbys is now on its second film.

They also won an award for Song of the Year, along with George Delerue, who played guitar for them. They were also inducted into the British Music Hall of Fame.
One of the other notable things about The Willoughbys is the artwork for each of their albums, as these were all printed and copyrighted by the band, rather than a group of artists. For the Willoughbys, their cover artwork featured the show "The Landings", with the title "The First Cut Is The Deepest". One of the best illustrations was the mural which featured a concert at the Cavern Club by The Willoughbys.
